The Nightcap. You found it. Or it found you.

This one doesn’t sit on the shelf with the others. It comes out when the lights go down, same as the good bottle. Charcoal felt, dark as the last hour of the night, with a single amber ring stitched in so the needle’s got something to aim for.

It’s for the late side. The one you put on after everyone’s gone to bed, when it’s just you, the chair, and something old enough to know better. The mat grips like the others, cushions like the others, but it knows what time it is.

We don’t advertise it. We figure the people who flick the lights off around here are the people it was made for anyway. Mats off to you for finding the switch.
